Counting Dreams, Chasing Sheep
It's been a very busy year, but I'm glad it's all coming to an end now. Looking back at what I've achieved this year, I must admit that compositionally I don't have a lot to show, but on the aside, being involved in a school musical production, several orchestral concerts, running many student concerts, and doing accompaniments for student exams, concerts, and weddings, has all accumulated into being a very eventful year!
This piece was taken from a musical idea I recorded back in 2019-2020 New Years. It's meant to be both calm and wonderful, mysterious and slightly dissonant, with sounds resembling a clock. I'm quite happy with how the arrangement turned out, but for some reason the sound quality after uploading is terrible compared to the original .wav file I recorded! Will need to look into this more.
